Helios Plateau is one of South-East Europe's largest single-site photovoltaic plants, built turnkey by Electrix.solar on 280 hectares of reclaimed agricultural land.

The challenge

The developer needed a single EPC partner able to take the project from a permitted greenfield site to a fully energised 210 MWp plant within an aggressive 14-month window — while connecting to the 110 kV transmission network.

Our solution

  • For-construction engineering of single-axis trackers carrying bifacial modules
  • Self-performed civil works, piling and inter-row cabling across 280 hectares
  • Construction of a dedicated 110 kV substation and grid-connection corridor
  • Integrated SCADA and a hybrid-ready plant controller for future storage

The result

Commissioned ahead of schedule, Helios Plateau now produces around 315 GWh per year — enough to power roughly 90,000 households and avoid an estimated 118,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually. Electrix.solar continues to operate the asset under a long-term O&M agreement.
